WHY HIRE A VA-ACCREDITED ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT YOU?

NWVL - Northwest Veterans Law > VA Disability  > WHY HIRE A VA-ACCREDITED ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT YOU?

WHY HIRE A VA-ACCREDITED ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT YOU?

In 2013 I retired from the military. I enlisted into the Infantry and later commissioned as a Field Artillery officer. After earning a law degree, I spent my last sixteen years of service as an Army lawyer. The transition process introduced me to the VA and I began establishing my service-connected disabilities. I found that the VA process was both confusing and emotionally difficult. Then the VA denied claims and, essentially, challenged my integrity after I swallowed my pride to ask for help.

Because of my VA experience I founded Northwest Veterans Law to fight for the benefits that Veterans were promised when they swore the oath. We pledged to serve and the government pledged to provide for us if we were injured during service. VA disability benefits for service-connected injuries are as much a right as were our meals and paychecks while in the military.

What I didn’t know when I applied for benefits was that there are many organizations to help Veterans file their initial benefit claims. Veteran Service Officers are available through volunteer organizations and local governments across the country. But, where should you turn when your initial claim is denied?

When you appeal a bad decision, you should have a VA-Accredited Attorney fighting on your behalf. Our accredited attorneys continuously train in VA disability law, attend national conferences, give community presentations and annually report our standing to the VA Office of General Counsel. Having a VA-Accredited Attorney in your corner brings the training, focus and resources that you need when battling the government.

Northwest Veterans Law attorneys have nearly 50 years of military service and 13 years of experience prosecuting cases before the VA. We gather evidence, develop strategies and argue in front of VA decision makers every day of the week. Unlike Veteran Service Officers, we focus only on VA disability appeals. Force concentration on the appeals process results in knowledge and procedures that bring victories for our clients.

Northwest Veterans Law does not charge for services unless you win, and then our fees are taken out of the money that the VA should have paid you if they got it right in the first place. Every dollar of your future monthly disability payments belongs to you.

The VA says that they are on your side, but does it really feel that way? We will stand shoulder to shoulder and fight for you to get all the benefits that are possible. It is free for you to receive a case evaluation, either in or offices or remotely. We welcome the opportunity to fight for you.
